Associate Professor Dr. Tin Myo Han (Dr. Myo) is a distinguished medical professional and graduated from University of Medicine 1 (M.B.B.S & M.Med.Sc (Public Health); Institute of Tropical Medicine, Belgium (M.P.H) and Open University of Malaysia (Ph.D) alongside Diploma in Family Medicine (Academy of Family Physicians Malaysia) and Fellow of Myanmar Academy of Family Physicians and College of Wound care Specialists. With a robust background spanning military medical service, academic leadership in Malaysia and Myanmar, and public health initiatives. Dr Myo has spearheaded transformative primary care and family medicine programs. As a pioneer in establishing pilot primary care models, continuous medical education projects, and primary care research unit in Myanmar GPs Society. She actively contributes to professional organizations such as secretary of Myanmar Wound Care Society, and representative of Myanmar to WONCA (World Family Doctors’ association, the ASEAN Wound Council. A prolific researcher with numerous awards, publications, and conference presentations, Dr. Myo currently serves as a full-time Family Physician and Public Health Specialist, alongside specialized wound care practices at own primary care clinic and prominent international private hospitals in Yangon, Myanmar.
