These guidelines apply to all abstract submitter for the World Union of Wound Healing Societies (WUWHS) Congress 2026.

Word Limit: Max 250 words (excluding title, authors' names, and affiliations). Extra content may be edited.
Structure:
Title: Formulate a title that concisely and accurately portrays the content of the abstract
Background: Briefly state the clinical or scientific context and the knowledge gap that prompted the study
Aim: Clearly state the primary aim or research question of the study
Methods: Describe the study or project design (e.g.,randomized controlled trial, cohort study, systematic review), setting, participants, or data sources and primary outcome measures. Include abrief analytical approach
Results: Report the main findings or significant outcomes that are directly related to the aim/objectives and purpose of the study
Conclusions: Provide a summary of what the results mean, highlight the outcomes, and any clinical or scientific implications or applications
Co-authors: Up to 10 per abstract
Anonymous Submission: Do not include authors' names, affiliations, hospitals, cities, etc., in title or text.
Previously Presented Work: The abstract must not be presented at any international congress unless it includes updated new data. Only abstracts with significant new data will be considered for acceptance.
Abstracts submission categories:
An email will be sent in May 2026 to those abstracts accepted by the Scientific Committee, along with guidelines on preparing your presentation.
All presenters must register for the conference no later than the 1 June 2026.
Any presenter not registered by this date is subject to removal from the program.
