A Deputy Director, Nursing Services in Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Ile-Ife, Osun State.
I am a dedicated nurse with over 35 years of clinical experience. I hold qualifications as a Registered Midwife (R/M), Registered Nurse (R/N), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSNC), and Wound Care Consultant.
My transformative journey in wound care began after attending an international wound conference in Southampton, UK in 2015. This brought transformation to my practice and enriched my passion for excellence in wound management.
As a clinical instructor, I combine teaching with clinical practices.
In 2015, I established the first Wound Care Clinic in Nigeria at OAUTHC. I have delivered lectures in wound care at major institutions. I initiated the use of standard sterile dressing packs, which has generated revenue in OAUTHC.
In 2023, I pioneered Association Of Tissue Health Practitioners Nigeria, visited Access Forth Gary Wound Care Unit in Canada for voluntary service.
In 2024 attended D-Foot training in Tanzania and in 2025 presented at the 7th Global Wound Conference in Malaysia.
My vision is to promote evidence-based practices using modern dressing techniques and innovative approaches.
I have empowered numerous nurses and other healthcare professionals through various trainings across Africa and beyond. I have presented two international e-posters and provided clinical, domiciliary, and consultancy services that have benefited many patients and saved limbs.
I currently serve as a DDNS and unit head, Professional Medical Bill in OAUTHC.
My commitment and competence remain strong motivating factors in my service to humanity.
