XENIA CARESSA P. SINONDr

Dr. Xenia Caressa P. Sinon, MD, FPSGS, FPCS is a BoardCertified General Surgeon, Vice Director of the National Specialty Center for Burn Care, and Medical Specialist II at East Avenue Medical Center. She also serves as the Assistant Hospital Administrator at San Fernandino Hospital Inc. and Co-Chairperson of the Department of Health Technical Working Group for Burn Care. Dr. Sinon earned her Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology (Cum Laude) from the University of Santo Tomas and her Doctor of Medicine from the Far Eastern University - Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation. She completed her surgical residency at East Avenue Medical Center, serving as Assistant Chief Resident. A Fellow of the Philippine College of Surgeons (PCS) and the Philippine Society of General Surgeons (PSGS), as well as an Associate Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (ACS), Dr. Sinon specializes in burn care, surgical quality assurance, and complex wound management. Her award-winning research on preoperative surgical risk assessment has been featured at the ACS Clinical Congress and published in the Journal of the American College of Surgeons.
