Dr. Tuo Xiaoye, MD, is a Chief Physician specialized in burns and plastic surgery with over 20 years of clinical experience. She holds various national and municipal academic posts, including member of the Committee for Burn, Trauma, Reconstruction and Rehabilitation of Chinese Research Hospital Association and the Nursing & Rehabilitation Subgroup of Chinese Medical Association Burn Surgery Branch, as well as standing committee member of multiple Beijing associations for injury and burn wound repair. Her clinical focus lies in standardized treatment of refractory wounds such as burn lesions, trauma wounds, pressure ulcers and diabetic foot ulcers. Her research centers on complex wound repair involving antibacterial dressings, emergency hemostatic materials, stem cell and PRP regenerative therapies. As the third inventor, she took part in developing a biomedical device with one Chinese and six international invention patents and a Class II medical device registration certificate. Her recent studies investigate wound microenvironment regulation and novel wound care strategies. She won the Third Prize of Sheng Zhiyong Medical Award and several institutional excellent clinician honors. She presides over multiple research projects and participates in three NSFC programs and one Beijing joint fund. Her team has realized complete translational commercialization of one medical device. She has published 9 SCI and 15 Chinese core journal papers as first or corresponding author, integrating outstanding clinical skills with translational research competence.
