Honda Hsu

Dr. Honda Hsu is an attending plastic surgeon and Chief of the Department of Surgery as well as Chief of Plastic Surgery at Dalin Tzu Chi Hospital in Dalin, Chaiyi County, Taiwan. After obtaining his medical degree from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, he later trained as a general surgeon and then as a plastic surgeon at the Tzu Chi General Hospital in Hualien, Taiwan. In 2009, he was appointed as a Lecturer at Tzu Chi University, as an Assistant Professor in 2014 and as an Associate Professor in 2020. Dr. Hsu holds special interests in microsurgery, especially in head and neck reconstruction in cancer patients as well as the treatment of diabetic foot, varicose veins, peripheral vascular disease and general reconstructive plastic surgery. He is now on the editorial board for Microsurgery and section editor for Tzu Chi Medical Journal.
