Dr Siti Khamsiah Abd Shukor is a Family Medicine Specialist in Malaysia’s public primary healthcare service, with a special interest in wound care. With 18 years of healthcare experience, including eight years as a specialist, she manages a broad spectrum of acute, complex, and chronic wounds within the primary care setting. She completed her Special Interest Training in Wound Care in 2025, both locally in Malaysia and internationally at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital in London. Her approach integrates evidence-based wound management with the core principles of Family Medicine, addressing disease control, prevention, psychosocial wellbeing, and social factors to provide holistic, patient-centred care. Beyond clinical practice, Dr Siti Khamsiah serves as a wound care trainer and auditor within Malaysian government primary healthcare facilities, contributing to the development of healthcare professionals and the continuous improvement of wound care quality and standards. She is passionate about translating evidence-based wound care into practical, accessible solutions and strengthening wound care delivery at the primary care and community level.
