George Tai CEO, Symptom Trace (TwinWard) George Tai is the CEO of SymptomTrace, a Taiwan-based healthtech company developing TwinWard, a non-contact patient monitoring platform that combines Time-of-Flight (ToF) camera and mmWave radar technology to support safer, more efficient care in hospital wards and long-term care facilities. In the wound care space, George leads SymptomTrace's diabetic foot ulcer initiative in Malaysia, in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Harikrishna K.R. Nair and the Wound Care Unit at Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL). Patient enrollment is currently underway for the project, which uses smartphone-captured wound images to train an AI model that predicts healing progress, aiming to give clinicians an accessible, low-cost tool for tracking wound trajectory and informing timely intervention. Before founding SymptomTrace, George spent his career at Intel, where he served as APJ Health & Life Sciences Sales Director, generating over USD 12 billion in cumulative sales, at times accounting for 2% of Intel's total global revenue, and earning four-time recognition as an Intel Top 50 Global Winner (top 0.05% company-wide). He also led government-to-government health technology collaborations across the Asia-Pacific and Japan region. George now applies this cross-sector experience to building scalable, clinically grounded innovations in digital health and wound care.
