Teh Li YinMs

Ms. Teh Li Yin serves as Senior Principal Assistant Director and Head of the Policy and Development Section within the Traditional and Complementary Medicine (T&CM) Division at the Ministry of Health (MOH) Malaysia. A pharmacist by training with a Master’s degree in Community Health Sciences from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, she brings over 17 years of dedicated service to the ministry, alongside more than a decade of expertise spanning clinical services and health administration. Throughout her tenure, Ms. Teh played a pivotal role in drafting the T&CM Act regulations and spearheading Malaysia’s T&CM Blueprints. In her current role, she drives strategic policy integration, oversees the implementation and monitoring of T&CM services within MOH facilities, and serves as an Alternate Member of the Malaysian T&CM Council. Globally, she represents Malaysia as the T&CM focal point in ASEAN and manages key international partnerships, including collaborations with the World Health Organization, ASEAN, China, and India.
