THAYALA SRIDHAR PICHAIKARENDr

Dr Thayala Sridhar is a medical doctor and Head of the Wound Care Unit at Hospital Selayang, Malaysia. He has extensive experience in wound assessment, wound bed preparation, multidisciplinary care and clinical education. With additional expertise in traditional and complementary medicine, he advocates a safe, evidence-informed and integrative approach to wound management. At WUWHS 2026, he will speak on “Asking the Right Questions in Wound Management” and contribute as a moderator for selected scientific sessions, including the Traditional and Complementary Medicine session. His work focuses on improving clinical reasoning, individualising treatment and helping healthcare professionals look beyond the wound to understand the whole patient.
