I am a Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon with more than 20 years of experience in medicine and approximately 18 years in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. My clinical interests include burn injury and reconstruction, complex wound management, body contouring and abdominoplasty, liposuction, facial aesthetic surgery, hair transplantation, scar management and reconstructive surgery. I completed advanced Plastic Surgery training at Hanyang University, Seoul, South Korea, and have been involved in developing Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery services in both university and private hospital settings. Beyond clinical practice, 1 am actively involved in medical education, professional leadership and industry training. I have served as an examiner for the Malaysian Ministry of Health LCP examination and as a consultant to the MOH Hair Transplantation Services Task Force. 1 am President of the Burn Survivor Support Society Malaysia and have held leadership responsibilities within the Malaysian Society of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. I am also affiliated with international professional organisations including ISAPS, ASPS and ISHRS. Teaching and professional development are important parts of my work. I regularly lecture and train doctors locally and internationally in areas including plastic surgery, burns, aesthetics and hair restoration. I have also appeared regularly in Malaysian national media including television, radio, newspapers and magazines discussing plastic surgery, burns, aesthetic medicine and related health topics.
