Maria Angela Boccara de Paula, RN, ET, MSc, PhD, is a Brazilian nurse, Enterostomal Therapist, researcher, and university professor. She is Chair of the WCET™ Education Committee (2024–2028), served as President of SOBEST – Brazilian Association of Enterostomal Therapy (2015–2020), and is an Emeritus Full Member of SOBEST. Her work focuses on ostomy care, peristomal skin health, rehabilitation, education, and the development of Enterostomal Therapy worldwide.
