Dr. Chih‑Hsun Lin is a clinician‑scientist in plastic and reconstructive surgery, with a particular interest in chronic wound care, microsurgical reconstruction, and regenerative medicine. He currently serves as Director of the Chronic Wound Care Center at Taipei Veterans General Hospital, where he works with patients and colleagues to improve wound outcomes through multidisciplinary care. He is also an Associate Professor at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, actively engaged in teaching and mentoring. Dr. Lin’s training has included visiting scholar appointments at MD Anderson Cancer Center in the USA and the National Center for Global Health and Medicine in Japan, experiences that broadened his perspective in reconstructive surgery. He holds board certifications in surgery, hand surgery, and plastic surgery, and earned a PhD in Biomedical Engineering. His research focuses on stem cell applications, particularly adipose‑derived stem cells, with the aim of contributing to future regenerative therapies. He values collaboration, patient care, and steady progress in advancing wound healing practice.
