Datuk Dr. Zafrina Burukan is a medical doctor, healthcare leader and internationally certified wound-care professional with extensive experience in advanced wound management, clinical governance and value-based healthcare. She holds an MBBCh BAO (Hons) from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and a Master of Public Health from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. She completed the Leadership in Medicine programme at Harvard University with distinction and holds professional certification in Value-Based Healthcare from the International Consortium for Health Outcomes Measurement (ICHOM). She is also a Certified Clinical Wound Care Practitioner, International Wound Care Trainer and holder of a Postgraduate Diploma in Wound Care. As CEO and Director of BeHealth Clinic, Malaysia, she champions evidence-based wound management, patient-centred care and outcome-driven healthcare. She is passionate about advancing professional wound-care education and developing sustainable care models that improve clinical outcomes and patients’ quality of life.
