Pitawan Rachata, MD, is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon and lecturer at Mae Fah Luang University, Thailand. She completed her plastic surgery training at the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, in 2016, followed by fundamental training in hyperbaric medicine with the Royal Thai Navy in 2020 and fellowship training in wound healing, scar, and keloid at Nippon Medical School, Tokyo, Japan, in 2022. She is the founding physician and clinical coordinator of the Wound and Scar Clinic at Mae Fah Luang University Medical Center Hospital. Her clinical and academic interests focus on wound healing, scar and keloid management, and regenerative wound care.
