Yu Jie ZhouProf

Yujie Zhou is a Clinical Nurse Specialist and International Ostomy Therapist. She serves as Chair of the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing Committee of the Chinese Nursing Association. She has led the development of several influential professional standards and consensus documents, including the Chinese Nursing Association group standard Adult Urostomy Care, Chinese Expert Consensus on the Clinical Application of Convex Ostomy Baseplates (2025 Edition), and Localization and Dissemination of Wound Care Clinical Pathways in China. She has also contributed to the development of multiple national and international standards, consensus statements, and clinical guidelines, including the International Clinical Practice Guideline for the Prevention and Treatment of Pressure Injuries, Adult Intestinal Ostomy Care, Standards for the Establishment of Wound Care Outpatient Clinics, Classification and Grading Standards for Intestinal Ostomy Complications (2023 Edition), the Expert Consensus on Peristomal Skin and Mucocutaneous Separation, and the Standards for Incontinence-Associated Skin Care in Adults. As chief reviewer or chief editor, she has contributed to several professional and educational publications, including Selected Cases in Wound and Ostomy Care, Yuma International Wound Therapist Course: Wound Care, and Questions and Answers on Ostomy Self-Care. Over the past five years, she has organized more than 10 national- and Beijing-level continuing education programs in wound, ostomy, and continence care, attracting nearly 20,000 healthcare professionals nationwide.
