Eun-Young RhaAssoc Prof Dr

Eun Young Rha, MD, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the College of Medicine, The Catholic University of Korea, Seoul, Republic of Korea. She completed her residency and fellowship training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Catholic Medical Center and received her PhD in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from The Catholic University of Korea. Her clinical interests include reconstructive surgery, breast reconstruction, microsurgical reconstruction, and complex wound management. Her research focuses on wound healing, pathologic scar modulation, and regenerative approaches using pharmacologic agents and transdermal drug delivery systems. She has served as principal investigator for research projects supported by the National Research Foundation of Korea and The Catholic University of Korea, investigating calcium channel blockers and angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors for scar treatment and wound healing. She has authored and co-authored studies on scar biology, wound healing, and reconstructive surgery. From 2024 to 2025, she was a Visiting Scholar at the Hagey Laboratory, Stanford University.
