Syeda Attiqa TajammalMs

Syeda Attiqa Tajammal is a PhD candidate in Pharmaceutical Sciences at South East Technological University (SETU), Ireland, researching green tea polyphenol-based hydrogel wound dressings. She holds a Master degree in Biochemistry from COMSATS Institute, Pakistan. Her doctoral work spans nanoparticle and phytosome formulation, polymer matrix development, physicochemical characterisation, and in vitro biological testing, including biocompatibility and microbiological analysis. Her research is supervised by Dr. Shiau Pin Tan and funded by SETU President scholarship. Alongside her PhD, she works as part-time lecturer in the department of Science and Computing at SETU. Her talk, "Eco-Inspired Smart Wound Dressings," will present the beneficial impact of green tea based dressings in wound healing.
