Dr. Balasubramaniam Subramaniam completed his Medical Degree at Crimea Medical University, Ukraine in 2009. He served 11 years in the Malaysian public healthcare system at Hospital Sibu and Hospital Kajang, where he was Head of the Wound Unit at Hospital Kajang. He is also a life member and Coordinator in the Malaysian Society of Wound Care Professionals. He holds a postgraduate diploma in wound management. Currently a General Practitioner in private practice, Dr. Balasubramaniam has special interest and extensive clinical experience in wound care and wound management for diabetic patients. He has conducted multiple clinical studies on wound management and published in the Malaysian Medical Journal and Wound International. Research Interests: Wound case study, diabetic wound care, microvascular complications, pharmacotherapy, systematic reviews. Currently, he has his own private practice as GP with special interest in wound.
