Martin Maresch Dr

Dr. Martin Maresch is a Senior Consultant Vascular & Endovascular Surgeon in the BDF Hospital- Royal Medical Services, Bahrain. He has joined BDF-RMS hospital in 2012 coming from KSA and become an integral part of the surgical services. Vascular surgery in the BDF has significantly improved within the last 11 years opening the new programs to treat complex vascular pathologies like Complex Venous Recanalizations, Systemic management of the Vascular access for hemodialysis or Diabetic foot management treating thousands of patient within the region. Dr Martin is a Co-director of National Aortic Repair Program which allow the treatment of complex aortic pathologies in MKCC for Bahraini patients instead of sending them abroad. He is also a Senior Lecturer the in Faculty of Medicine in RCSI, educating Bahraini nurses and doctors adepts as well as a leader of multiple research projects within BDF-RMS. As the director of Middle East Venous Forum and member of Pan Arab Vascular Society he is an enthusiastic educator in the region organizing conferences and workshop to improve the quality of care for the patients. He also regularly educates children in primary and secondary schools in medical science providing the inspirational lectures and workshops. Worried about the health of the kids in Bahrain he has initiated anti-vaping educational campaign under RMS in cooperation with RCSI. He is the author of multiple publications in international peer-reviewed journals, a participant in several international trials, and a regular speaker at international cardio-vascular meetings, exterminator of European Board in Vascular Surgery and International Representative of American Venous Forum.
