Dr. Mohamed Magdy Badr is an Egyptian physician specializing in wound care, diabetic foot management, limb preservation, pressure injuries, and complex chronic wounds. He is the Founder of Wound On Call Center and also serves as a wound care consultant at the Armed Forces Rehabilitation Center in Cairo, where he contributes to the management of complex wounds, diabetic foot complications, pressure injuries, and limb-threatening conditions. With more than a decade of clinical experience, Dr. Badr has developed a strong professional focus on advanced wound assessment, offloading, infection control, modern wound therapies, limb salvage, and the biological factors affecting wound healing. He has completed specialized postgraduate training in diabetic foot care, wound management, and medical laser applications, in addition to advanced clinical training related to limb-preservation medicine. Dr. Badr is also an active educator and trainer, delivering lectures, workshops, and professional training programs for physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals in Egypt and internationally. His teaching emphasizes practical, evidence-based approaches that connect wound biology with real-world clinical decision-making. Alongside his clinical practice, he is an independent researcher with a growing academic portfolio focused on diabetic foot disease, wound healing, recurrence prevention, offloading, pressure injuries, and global disparities in limb-preservation systems.
