Dengbin LiaoAssoc Prof

Dengbin Liao is a Deputy Chief Nurse Practitioner and International Wound Therapist, currently serving as Head Nurse of the Trauma Center at West China Hospital, Sichuan University. He holds multiple leading academic positions in the field: Vice Chair of the Wound, Ostomy and Continence (WOC) Nursing Committee of the Chinese Nursing Association; Chair-elect of the Sichuan Provincial WOC Nursing Committee; and member of the Nursing Committee of the Chinese Medical Association Trauma Branch as well as the Sichuan Medical Association Trauma Branch. As Director of the CNA WOC Specialist Nurse Training Base at West China Hospital, he oversees standardized specialist training programmes for nurses across the country. He has led or participated in 12 provincial and ministerial research projects, and published 27 papers as first or corresponding author, 9 of which are indexed in SCI. His research focuses on acute traumatic wound management, wound care standardization and surgical site infection control.
