Chong Chin Weun is a Senior Clinical Dietitian at Hospital Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with more than 19 years of experience in clinical dietetics across acute, rehabilitation and tertiary healthcare settings. Her areas of expertise include medical nutrition therapy, dysphagia management and diet modification, stroke rehabilitation, and geriatric nutrition. She holds a Bachelor of Dietetics with Honours from the National University of Malaysia and a Master of Medical Science from the University of Malaya. She also completed an honorary attachment in neurological rehabilitation at Canterbury Hospital, East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust, United Kingdom. Her clinical and professional interests include optimising nutritional care for patients with complex medical conditions, older adults and individuals undergoing rehabilitation. She is actively involved in professional education, clinical training and national initiatives related to dysphagia management and elderly care. As an active member of the Malaysia IDDSI Reference Group, she contributes to advancing safe and appropriate nutritional management for patients requiring texture-modified diets. Her interest in wound healing focuses on the important role of nutrition in supporting recovery and optimising patient outcomes.
