Sofea Lokman is a Physiotherapist with the Women’s Health Division, Department of Physiotherapy, Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL), Malaysia. She specializes in women’s health physiotherapy, with a focus on pelvic floor rehabilitation, urinary incontinence, and lymphedema management. She holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Hons.) from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). In October 2015, she completed the Certified Lymphedema Therapy Course (Advanced Certification) conducted by Klose Training, USA, and is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT). Her clinical expertise includes the assessment and management of lymphedema using Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT), encompassing Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), compression therapy, therapeutic exercise, skin care, and patient education. She is actively involved in the rehabilitation of patients with breast cancer-related lymphedema and other lymphatic disorders, as well as women with pelvic floor dysfunction.
