SKMC is a tertiary hospital with the largest ED in the Emirate (85 beds), 450 acute and critical care beds, 12 ORs, 16 outpatient specialty clinics and diabetes center. SKMC also manages 125 Behavioral science beds facility in addition to Al Rahba Infectious Disease hospital of 250 beds. Comes with years of experience in Healthcare; fifteen of these years are in senior position in healthcare quality and administration. I am a JCIA expert, EFQM, OSHAD lead auditor. A holder Master Degree Quality Management (MQM), Master Degree in Clinical Psychology (MsPsy). American Board of Medical Quality (CMQ) holder, Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Six Sigma Black Belt Certified (SSBBC) from American Association of Quality (ASQ) and a Project Management Professional (PMP). A data management specialist, part of SEHA’s NIHQM (National Inpatient Hospital Quality Measures) implementation and part of SKMC NDNQI (National Database for Nursing Quality Indicators) team that has established and maintained this initiative as the first hospital in the UAE. Spoke in, participated and led planning for many international conferences. I have created and delivered several healthcare quality courses for internationally accredited universities and centers in UAE, USA, and UK. Conducted, participated and published several research studies and educational booklets and guidelines.
