Dr. V.A. Jacob Abraham, born December 30, 1968, is the Head of Orthopaedic Service for Pahang, stationed at Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan (HTAA) in Kuantan. ​Education & Training ​MBBS: Kasturba Medical College, India (1995) ​Master of Surgery (Orthopaedics): University Malaya Medical Centre (2004) ​Fellowship: AO Trauma, Kantonsspital, Switzerland (2010) ​Clinical Career & Wound Care Progressing from a medical officer to State Head, his clinical focus spans arthroplasty, geriatric fractures, and wound care. He founded HTAA's Wound Care Unit, helped establish the Pahang State Wound Care Services Committee, and contributed to developing the national Post-Basic Wound Curriculum for Paramedics. ​Academic & Leadership Roles ​Teaching: Honorary lecturer for IIUM and Widad University College; postgraduate trainer for the Ministry of Health's Orthopaedics program. ​Administration: Pahang State Wound Care Advisor, East Coast Regional Wound Care Coordinator, National Wound Care Committee member, and Chairman of HTAA's Surgical/Dental Directorate Advisory Council.
