Shah Zarak Khan is a Group Managing Director and Laser Medicine professional with over 20 years of experience in Photobiomodulation (PBM), medical laser technologies, healthcare technology, and medical device innovation. He holds a degree in Bachelor of Science and System Management (Engineering Dept) UKM and a Professional Certificate in Laser Practice, combining technological expertise with clinical applications and healthcare innovation. His professional expertise encompasses laser applications in pain management, diabetic wound care, dermatology and aesthetics, gynecology, orthopedics, and sports medicine. Throughout his career, he has trained more than 10,000 medical practitioners internationally and participated in scientific and professional conferences associated with organizations including ISLA, ASLMS, European laser associations, and WALT. Working with a network of more than 500 international consultants and clinical experts, Shah Zarak Khan contributes to international collaborations, clinical educations, professional advisory activities, and the advancement of Laser Medicine Consultancy and development. His professional engagements include presentations at the 6th Ministry of Health (MOH) Physiotherapy Conference Malaysia and contributions to laser safety discussions at University Malaya Medical Centre. He is also actively involved in many R&D in areas medical technology development, and device innovation with international partners. His current research focuses on the “Development of a Medical Laser Procurement Decision Framework,” aimed at supporting evidence-informed technology selection, safer clinical applications, and improved patient care.
