Dr. Flaviana Amado Martins is a veterinarian specializing in veterinary dermatology, advanced wound care, photobiomodulation, and photodynamic therapy. She holds postgraduate qualifications in Veterinary Dermatology and Biophotonics and a Master’s degree in Biophotonic Medicine. She is currently a PhD candidate in the Biotechnology Graduate Program (BIOTEC) at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), Brazil. She is a guest lecturer in postgraduate programs in Veterinary Dermatology and Allergology, Clinical Dermatology, and Veterinary Oncology. She is the founder and CEO of Dermacare Vet and the founder of the professional groups InVetSci, Fotobiovet, and Vet Wounds. She is also a member of the World Association for Photobiomodulation Therapy (WALT), the International Photodynamic Association (IPA), and the Brazilian Society for Advanced Wound Care (SOBRATAFE).
