Enrico A. de Jesus MD FPOA MMHoA Orthopedic Surgeon Overview Dr. Enrico A. de Jesus, a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon with over 30 years of clinical experience in the practice of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology Background in Education and Training He was born in Sampaloc, Manila, Philippines and started his school at the University of Santo Tomas from Elementary to College. Later he earned his Medical Degree (MD) at Perpetual Help College of Medicine (1983) . Binan, Laguna. He Had his residency training in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology at the Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center (1987-1991). After his residency training, he continued further training in Advanced Orthopedic Surgery and basic research at Singapore General Hospital under the Lee and Shaw Foundation Fellowship Grant (1993). In 1996 , he was accepted to the International Postgraduate Course in Medicine Fellowship training in Arthroscopy at Assaf Harofe Medical Center, Zerifin, Israel. He also had his Masters degree in Management in Hospital Administration (2016) at the Philippine Christian University, Manila . An active member of the Philippine Orthopedic Association, Life Member of the Philippine Medical Association and a Board Member of the Philippine Wound Care Society. He held various positions in hospital Health Services such as -Chairman, Department of Orthopedic Surgery -Chairman, Department of Emergency Services -Manager, Disaster Risk Reduction and Management for Health - Coordinator, Diabetic Foot and Wound Care Clinic He was also a recipient of citations for awards and Recognition such as - Model Employee of Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center (2000) - Meritorious Service Award of the Department of Health, Emergency Management Service (2020) - 20th UNTV Public Service Award (2024) On February 28, 2018, he spearhead the establishment and launching of the hospital's Diabetic Foot and wound Care Clinic with its aim is to promote and advocate easy access to a Multidisciplinary approach for patients with difficult to heal wounds.
