Dr Patricia Paskalia Maharani Bakti Putranti, BVM, DVM, is a small-animal veterinarian based in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia, with a special interest in veterinary wound management, dermatology, soft-tissue surgery, and reconstructive surgery. She has been practising at Animal Central Veterinary Clinic since 2018, where she manages a broad range of complex wounds, dermatological conditions, trauma cases, and surgical patients. She holds a Professional Master’s Degree in Dermatology in Small Animals and a Postgraduate Certificate in Wound Management and Reconstructive Surgery in Small Animals, and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Veterinary Medicine at Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. She is also completing her Certificate in Clinical Wound Care (CCWC) in 2026. Dr Patricia has presented veterinary wound-care work at national and international scientific meetings, including the Global Wound Conference, where she received Best Oral Presenter and Third Place Poster awards in 2025. Her work focuses on translating modern wound-care principles into practical veterinary applications, particularly wound-bed preparation, reconstructive techniques, and pressure injury management. She is the first and corresponding author of a 2026 publication on feline facial reconstruction using local flaps and electro-activated super-oxidised water, published in BIO Web of Conferences.
