Asst Prof Dr Chee Yu Han is currently a Senior Consultant & Assistant Professor in Orthopaedics at the National University Hospital & National University of Singapore. Following his medical undergraduate degree from Liverpool University, UK and completion of Orthopaedics Specialist Training in Edinburgh, Scotland, he joined NUH in 2012. He completed a UK fellowship in complex fracture management including open fractures, post-traumatic bony infections & deformity correction; bone lengthening and upper & lower limb reconstruction surgeries. He currently specialises in foot & ankle fracture fixation & sport injuries; deformity correction, charcot deformities, limb preservation surgeries and is part of the NUH multidisciplinary team that manages patients with diabetic limb complications, wounds & chronic ulcers using the latest techniques and technological advances. He is the Honorary Secretary for the Asia Pacific Association for Diabetic Limb Problems and Vice President of Wound Healing Society Singapore that focuses on the education, training and improvement in diabetic limb and ulcer care. He has been the Director of undergraduate medical education in orthopaedics and currently the Associate Programme Director for junior doctors.
