Dr. Jazly bin Johari holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD, Russia), a Postgraduate Certificate in Wound Management (PGWM, Lincoln University), and is a Certified Clinical Wound Care (CCWC, Malaysia) practitioner. He is an Advanced Wound Care Physician and Educator with extensive experience in the assessment and management of acute and chronic wounds. Dr. Jazly previously served as the Head of the Wound Care Unit, Department of General Surgery, Hospital Shah Alam, where he played a key role in advancing multidisciplinary wound care services and promoting evidence-based clinical practice. He is currently the State Wound Care Representative for Selangor under the Malaysian Society of Wound Care Professionals and an Associate Member of the Malaysian Society of Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses (MSWOCN). Passionate about education and professional development, Dr. Jazly is a trainer in the Malaysian Enterostomal Therapy Nursing Education Program (METNEP) and is an HRD Corp Certified Accredited Trainer. He regularly conducts lectures, workshops, and hands-on training for doctors, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals, focusing on practical, evidence-based wound management. His special interests include diabetic foot management, pressure injuries, moisture-associated skin damage, advanced wound therapies, and multidisciplinary wound care. Through education, clinical excellence, and collaboration, Dr. Jazly is committed to improving wound care standards and patient outcomes across Malaysia.
