Dr Kwok Yuk Ki is an Advanced Practice Podiatrist at the Queen Mary Hospital in Hong Kong, with extensive expertise in diabetic foot care and advanced diabetic foot wound management.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Sciences (Honours) in Podiatry from the University of Northampton, United Kingdom, under a full scholarship from the Hong Kong Hospital Authority. Driven by a strong interest in diabetic foot ulceration, she pursued postgraduate training and obtained a Master of Medical Science in Orthopaedic – Foot and Ankle Surgery from The University of Hong Kong in 2018. She subsequently completed her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at The University of Hong Kong in 2024, focusing on the pathophysiology of diabetic chronic wounds and investigating matrix-modifying wound dressings to accelerate healing in diabetic patients.
Dr Kwok is a registered Podiatrist with the United Kingdom Health and Care Professions Council (POM-A, POM-S) and currently serves as a Council Member of The Hong Kong Society for Diabetic Limb Care.
She has made notable contributions to the field through research and clinical scholarship. She has a peer-reviewed publication on Circumferential Constriction Ischaemic Syndrome (CCIS) in the Journal of Orthopaedics, Trauma and Rehabilitation (2020). Dr Kwok has also presented multiple posters and oral presentations at prominent local and international conferences, including the Hospital Authority Convention, Hong Kong Primary Care Conference, International Symposium on Healthy Aging, and WOUNDS 2020 in Brisbane, Australia.
