Associate Professor Gulapar Srisawasdi is a physiatrist working as a medical instructor at the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand. After finishing the rehabilitation medicine training program, she continued her study in Electrodiagnostic Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin, USA. She also earned a Board Certification in Pedorthics from the USA and became the first Certified Pedorthist in Thailand. Her special interests include conservative management of common foot problems especially diabetic foot problems. Currently she is the Director of the Sirindhorn School of Prosthetics and orthotics, Deputy Chair of the Siriraj Diabetes Center of Excellence and coordinator of the Siriraj Interdisciplinary Diabetic Lower Extremity Care Team. She is also a Board member of the Diabetic Foot Club of Thailand. Internationally, she is the former President of the Asia Pacific Association for Diabetic Limb Problems, and regional chair, country representative, and former Vice-President of the D-Foot International. She has been an invited speaker in many occasions both national and international levels.
