Charles Richard Roxas Cabuquit

Dr. Charles Richard R. Cabuquit is an Orthopedic Spine Surgeon and Advanced Wound Care Specialist based in the Philippines. He is the Founder and Medical Director of Hilom Wound Care Clinic, a multidisciplinary center focused on advanced wound management, limb preservation, and skin integrity programs. He currently serves as President of the Philippine Orthopedic Wound Care and Diabetic Limb Society (POWCDLS). Dr. Cabuquit is actively involved in wound care education, systems development, and multidisciplinary collaboration across hospital, outpatient, and community-based settings. His work focuses on diabetic limb preservation, pressure injury prevention, musculoskeletal infection, and the integration of practical wound care strategies into real-world clinical systems. He has delivered lectures and workshops locally and internationally on topics related to wound care, orthopedic infection, prevention systems, and limb salvage. He is also involved in developing training programs, prevention initiatives, and institutional wound care pathways in the Philippines. Dr. Cabuquit is a Fellow of the Philippine College of Surgeons, the Philippine Orthopaedic Association, the Philippine Spine Society, and the Philippine Orthopedic Wound Care and Diabetic Limb Society.
