Dr. Nizam Ali Husien (Malaysia) EXECUTIVE MEMBERS

Dr. Nizam bin Ali Husien is a highly qualified wound care specialist with extensive experience in the management and treatment of complex wounds. With a Medical Degree (MBBS) from the University of Malaya, a Certificate in Clinical Wound Care (CCWC) from Malaysia, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Wound Management from Lincoln University College, he has developed a deep expertise in wound care. He currently serves as the State Wound Care Coordinator for Sarawak and is a key figure in various national and international wound care initiatives. Dr. Nizam is a member of the Malaysian Society of Wound Care Professionals (MSWCP), the ASEAN Wound Council, and a Life Member of the Asia Pacific Association for Diabetic Limb Problems (APADLP). He is also a Lifetime Council Member of the Asian Wound Care Association. As the Coordinator of the Wound Care Unit at Sarawak General Hospital and State Coordinator for the National Wound Care Committee under the Ministry of Health Malaysia, he is dedicated to advancing wound care practices in the region. He has played a pivotal role in the training and awareness of wound care management, working with healthcare professionals across both public and private sectors.
